California High School Baseball - Fountain Valley nips Huntington Beach

The Fountain Valley Barons baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Huntington Beach Oilers to 1 in the Barons league win on Friday.

The Barons now own a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host Newport Harbor for a test on Tuesday, April 15. Fountain Valley will play a Sailors team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA). The Sailors record now stands at 7-5.

With the defeat, Huntington Beach drops to 3-1 on the year. The Oilers travel to Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA) to play the Griffins in a test on Tuesday, April 15.
