The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) and the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), observed Piedra Vista's softball team get by Rio Rancho by a tally of 14-8.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record.

In their next game, the Rams clash with the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Rio Rancho will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
