Fans at Friday's league battle between the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) and the host South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC), saw Cox Mill's soccer squad knock off South Iredell by a count of 3-0.

The Chargers (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils enter the Greater Metro 4A battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Mooresville tipped Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Vikings battle the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A battle, on Tuesday, April 15. South Iredell will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 5-7 record after their 8-0 league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC).
