In Friday's non-league bout, the Rifle Bears (Rifle, CO) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Coal Ridge Titans (New Castle, CO), by a tally of 8-1.
Next up, the Bears encounter the Glenwood Springs Demons (Glenwood Springs, CO) in a bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Rifle will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Demons enter the bout with a 1-7 record after their 9-4 league loss to Summit (Frisco, CO).
The Titans (0-4) will now prepare for their bout against Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO). The Huskies enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Battle Mountain edged Meeker (Meeker, CO), 15-4, in a non-league bout.
