The Meeker Cowboys (Meeker, CO) baseball got by the host North Fork Miners (Hotchkiss, CO), 7-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Cowboys now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grand Valley for a challenge on Tuesday, May 6.
With the defeat, North Fork drops to 4-2 on the year. The Miners travel to Olathe (Olathe, CO) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Olathe won 19-0 in their recent league challenge against Grand Valley (Parachute, CO)
