The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX) and the host Eastwood Troopers (El Paso, TX), observed Pebble Hills's softball team get by Eastwood by a tally of 10-9.

The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their bout against Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 17-0 record. In their last bout, Socorro tipped Eastlake (El Paso, TX), 19-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Troopers clash with the Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) in a bout, on Saturday, April 12. Eastwood will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 22-7 non-league loss to Franklin (El Paso, TX).
