The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Selma Bears (Selma, CA) and the visiting Kerman Lions (Kerman, CA), observed Selma's softball team prevail over Kerman by a tally of 18-7.

The Bears (9-1) will now prepare for their bout against Monache (Porterville, CA). The Marauders go into the non-league bout with a 12-2 record. In their last bout, Monache knocked off Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA), 14-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Kingsburg Vikings (Kingsburg, CA) in a bout, on Friday, April 25. Kerman will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record.
