The Grand Island Vikings (Grand Island, NY) lacrosse the visiting Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), 9-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Vikings now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Iroquois for a Class C outing on Wednesday, April 23.

With the loss, Amherst Central falls to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers host Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY) to face the Flames in a Class C outing on Tuesday, April 22. The Flames go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Williamsville East lost 20-8 in their recent league outing against Grand Island (Grand Island, NY)
