In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Hillsboro Burros lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-5 triumph over the Centennial Cougars.
The Burros (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson Central (Lebanon, TN). The Wildcats go into the 1A Region 3 D1 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Wilson Central was edged by Oakland (Murfreesboro, TN), 17-11, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Nolensville Knights (Nolensville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 14. Centennial will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Baylor (Chattanooga, TN).
