In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Cumberland Clippers lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-11 triumph over the Prout Crusaders.

The Clippers (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, East Greenwich held off Smithfield (Esmond, RI), 15-4, in a league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders clash with the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 14. Prout will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 14-2 non-league win over Cranston West (Cranston, RI).
