Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Munford Lions (Munford, AL), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Cleburne County moves its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Anniston (Anniston, AL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 4A Area 5 test on Monday, April 14. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 0-7. Anniston lost 13-0 in their recent non-league test against Oxford (Oxford, AL)

The Lions now sport a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to White Plains for a 4A Area 5 test on Tuesday, April 15. Munford will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-6.
