Arizona High School Softball - Alhambra topped by McClintock

McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ), 31-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, McClintock upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Chargers travel to Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Knights in a 5A Metro game on Tuesday, April 15. The Knights enter the game with a record of 3-7. Metro Tech lost 14-2 in their recent league game against North (Phoenix, AZ)

The Lions now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to North for a 5A Metro game on Tuesday, April 15. Alhambra will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 18-10 non-league loss to North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-12.
