The Altamont Longhorns softball team scored 22 runs and held the visiting Wayne Badgers to 5 in the Longhorns non-league win on Friday.

The Longhorns now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinnacle for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. Altamont will confront a Panthers team coming off a 21-4 league loss to Piute (Junction, UT). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Wayne moves to 4-10 on the season. The Badgers host Panguitch (Panguitch, UT) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Bobcats come into the battle with a record of 7-3. Panguitch won 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Monticello (Monticello, UT)
