Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Douglas Eagles (Douglas, AL), 17-11 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Appalachian upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Pennington (Blountsville, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, April 14. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 1-15.

The Eagles now own a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sardis for a 5A Area 13 game on Monday, April 14.
