Rhode Island High School Softball - Mt. Hope bested by Barrington

The Barrington Eagles triumphed over the host Mt. Hope Huskies softball squad by a count of 18-1 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Barrington will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 15-0 league win over Hope (Providence, RI).

The Huskies (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Burrillville was routed by Johnston (Johnston, RI), 9-3, in a non-league challenge.
