Kentucky High School Softball - Bourbon County bounces Lincoln County

The Bourbon County Colonels softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Lincoln County Patriots to 0 in the Colonels non-league win on Friday.

The Colonels now possess a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simon Kenton for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. Bourbon County will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 19-0 non-league win over Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Lincoln County moves to 4-13 on the season. The Patriots travel to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY) to confront the Braves in a non-league battle on Friday, April 11. The Braves come into the battle with a record of 3-3.
