The Lamar Silver Foxes overwhelmed the visiting C.A. Johnson Hornets softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Silver Foxes meet the C.A. Johnson Hornets (Columbia, SC) in a A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, April 11. Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Hornets go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 20-3 league loss to Lee Central (Bishopville, SC).
The Hornets (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamar (Lamar, SC). The Silver Foxes go into the A Region 2 challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Lamar toppled Great Falls (Great Falls, SC), 17-1, in a league challenge.
