California High School Softball - Palo Verde Valley drops to Calexico

The Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets softball squad (Blythe, CA), was routed 11-1 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA)

With the triumph, Calexico improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Central (El Centro, CA) to face the Spartans in a Imperial Valley contest on Tuesday, April 15. The Spartans enter the contest with a record of 5-7. Central lost 10-3 in their recent league contest against Brawley (Brawley, CA)

The Yellow Jackets now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Calipatria for a non-league contest on Monday, April 14. Palo Verde Valley will face a Hornets squad coming off a 24-10 non-league win over Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-6.
