Texas High School Softball - Elysian Fields bounces Carlisle

The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Carlisle Indians to 3 in the Yellowjackets league win on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harleton for a 1A Region III District 19 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Elysian Fields will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Beckville (Beckville, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-16.

With the loss, Carlisle moves to 0-23 on the year. The Indians host Waskom (Waskom, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 1A Region III District 19 game on Tuesday, April 15. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 6-16. Waskom lost 14-4 in their recent league game against Ore City (Ore City, TX)
