Next, the Lions clash with the Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 12. Carterville will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Terriers go into the test with a 5-3 record after their 17-0 league win over Cahokia (Cahokia, IL).

The Bulldogs (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Goreville (Goreville, IL). The Blackcats go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Goreville held off Pope County (Golconda, IL), 11-3, in a non-league test.
