Texas High School Softball - Castleberry drops to Springtown

The Castleberry Lions softball squad (Fort Worth, TX), was routed 11-1 in Friday's league contest with the host Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX)

With the triumph, Springtown improves its record to 16-7 on the year. The Porcupines travel to Decatur (Decatur, TX) to face the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 7 contest on Monday, April 14. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 12-6. Decatur lost 5-1 in their recent league contest against Eagle Mountain (Fort Worth, TX)

The Lions now hold a 6-19 record. They play next when they host Burkburnett for a 4A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, April 15. Castleberry will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-16.
