The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) softball routed the host St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers (Baton Rouge, LA), 8-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 21-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host E.D. White for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 12. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over North Vermilion (Maurice, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-9.

With the loss, St. Joseph's Academy moves to 11-15 on the season. The Redstickers host Northlake Christian (Covington, LA) to encounter the Wolverines in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 12. The Wolverines come into the outing with a record of 9-11. Northlake Christian won 14-0 in their recent non-league outing against Mt. Hermon (Mt. Hermon, LA)
