The Cave City Cavemen softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Valley Springs Tigers to 0 in the Cavemen league win on Friday.

The Cavemen now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sloan-Hendrix for a non-league battle on Friday, April 11. Cave City will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 10-5 league win over Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Valley Springs moves to 0-17 on the season. The Tigers travel to Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR) to confront the Panthers in a 3A Region 2 battle on Monday, April 14. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 7-7. Yellville-Summit lost 16-1 in their recent league battle against Melbourne (Melbourne, AR)
