Texas High School Softball - Centennial edges Joshua

April 11, 2025: Burleson, TX 76028

The Centennial Spartans softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Joshua Owls to 4 in the Spartans league win on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 21-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burleson for a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Centennial will confront a Elks team coming off a 13-3 league win over Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Elks record now stands at 20-5.

With the loss, Joshua moves to 11-11 on the season. The Owls travel to Everman (Everman, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A Region I District 8 battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 2-19. Everman lost 15-0 in their recent league battle against Cleburne (Cleburne, TX)
