The Washington Union Panthers softball team scored 13 runs and held the host Central Valley Christian Cavaliers to 9 in the Panthers league win on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madera South for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. Washington Union will confront a Stallions team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Minarets (O'Neals, CA). The Stallions record now stands at 3-12.
With the loss, Central Valley Christian moves to 3-7 on the season. The Cavaliers host Immanuel (Reedley, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Tri-County - Sequoia battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 11-5. Immanuel won 7-6 in their recent league battle against Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA)
