The Clyde Fliers overwhelmed the visiting Norwalk Truckers softball squad by a count of 18-0 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Fliers meet the Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Clyde will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 6-3 league win over New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH).
The Truckers (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbian (Tiffin, OH). The Tornadoes go into the Sandusky Bay - Lake challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Columbian toppled Bellevue (Bellevue, OH), 2-0, in a league challenge.
