Kentucky High School Softball - Cumberland County bounces Green County

In Friday's non-league match, the host Cumberland County Panthers softball team scored a tight 6-0 win over the Green County Dragons.
The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Hornets come into the District 16 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Metcalfe County was routed by Gallatin County (Warsaw, KY), 8-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Caverna Colonels (Horse Cave, KY) in a District 18 match, on Monday, April 14. Green County will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Colonels come into the match with a 4-7 record after their 20-0 league loss to Hart County (Munfordville, KY).
