Mississippi High School Softball - West Point gets by French Camp Academy

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) and the host French Camp Academy Panthers (French Camp, MS), observed West Point's softball team get by French Camp Academy by a tally of 6-5.
The Green Wave (11-11) will now prepare for their bout against Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Warriors go into the 5A Region 1 bout with a 8-10 record. In their last bout, Corinth tipped Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS), 14-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Noxapater Tigers (Noxapater, MS) in a 1A Region 6 bout, on Monday, April 14. French Camp Academy will attempt to advance on its 6-13 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS).
