Texas High School Softball - George West bounces West Oso

The George West Longhorns softball team scored 20 runs and held the host West Oso Bears to 10 in the Longhorns league win on Friday.

With the triumph, George West improves its record to 6-16 on the year. The Longhorns host Odem (Odem, TX) to play the Owls in a 3A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, April 15. The Owls enter the game with a record of 13-14. Odem won 7-5 in their recent league game against Taft (Taft, TX)

The Bears now hold a 3-20 record. They play next when they travel to Aransas Pass for a 3A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, April 15. West Oso will play a Panthers squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Mathis (Mathis, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 6-14.
