In Friday's league test, the Hardin Hornets (Hardin, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Warren Warriors (Warren, TX), by a tally of 12-1.

Next, the Hornets meet the Kirbyville Wildcats (Kirbyville, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 test, on Tuesday, April 15. Hardin will attempt to advance on its 6-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 22-6 record after their 8-1 league win over East Chambers (Winnie, TX).

The Warriors (2-21) will now prepare for their test against Sotomayor (San Antonio, TX). The WILDCATS go into the non-league test with a 8-11 record. In their last test, Sotomayor was routed by Taft (San Antonio, TX), 8-1, in a league test.
