The Rosary Academy Royals triumphed over the host Irvine Vaqueros softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Royals meet the Northwood Timberwolves (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Coast challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Rosary Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 18-2 season record. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Woodbridge (Irvine, CA).

The Vaqueros (4-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Portola (Irvine, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Pacific Coast challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Portola was routed by Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA), 13-9, in a non-league challenge.
