The Taylor Ducks softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Jarrell Cougars to 1 in the Ducks league win on Friday.

The Ducks now possess a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burnet for a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Taylor will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-1 league win over Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Jarrell moves to 6-18 on the season. The Cougars host Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 10-15. Marble Falls lost 8-1 in their recent league battle against Burnet (Burnet, TX)
