Ohio High School Softball - Lakeside knocked off by Jefferson Area

The Jefferson Area Falcons overwhelmed the visiting Lakeside Dragons softball squad by a count of 22-0 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Falcons meet the Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Jefferson Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 21-1 league win over Struthers (Struthers, OH).

The Dragons (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Geneva (Geneva, OH). The Eagles go into the Chagrin Valley - Lake challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Geneva was routed by Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH), 24-0, in a non-league challenge.
