The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX) and the visiting Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX), observed Spring Hill's softball team prevail over Kilgore by a tally of 13-3.

The Panthers (16-11) will now prepare for their bout against Brook Hill (Bullard, TX). The Guard go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Brook Hill was routed by Hyde Park (Austin, TX), 8-1, in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs (5-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Henderson (Henderson, TX). The Lions go into the 4A Region II District 16 challenge with a 20-6 record. In their last challenge, Henderson toppled Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 5-3, in a league challenge.
