The Marion Patriots softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Wynne Yellowjackets to 10 in the Patriots non-league win on Friday.

The Patriots now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paragould for a 5A East battle on Tuesday, April 15.

With the loss, Wynne moves to 6-9 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Gosnell (Gosnell, AR) to confront the Pirates in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 8-4. Gosnell lost 9-2 in their recent league battle against Brookland (Brookland, AR)
