Arizona High School Softball - Miami bounces Pima

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Miami Vandals (Miami, AZ) and the visiting Pima Roughriders (Pima, AZ), observed Miami's softball team get by Pima by a tally of 6-1.

The Vandals (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against Leading Edge Academy - GEC (Gilbert, AZ). The Spartans go into the 2A East bout with a 6-7 record. In their last bout, Leading Edge Academy - GEC tipped Maryvale Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 20-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Roughriders clash with the Benson Bobcats (Benson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Pima will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ).
