Ohio High School Softball - Sandusky bested by Perkins

The Perkins Pirates triumphed over the visiting Sandusky Blue Streaks softball squad by a count of 16-6 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Bellevue Redmen (Bellevue, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Lake challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Perkins will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Redmen enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Columbian (Tiffin, OH).

The Blue Streaks (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-8 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary Central Catholic was routed by Woodmore (Elmore, OH), 21-6, in a league challenge.
