New Mexico High School Softball - Piedra Vista bounces Rio Rancho

The Piedra Vista Panthers softball team scored 21 runs and held the host Rio Rancho Rams to 5 in the Panthers league win on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmington for a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Piedra Vista will confront a Scorpions team coming off a 7-2 league loss to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 11-8.
With the loss, Rio Rancho moves to 12-7 on the season. The Rams host Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM) to confront the Storm in a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Storm come into the battle with a record of 9-11. Cleveland won 18-7 in their recent league battle against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM)
