The crowd at Friday's league bout between the South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) and the host Rock Hill Redmen (Ironton, OH), observed South Point's softball team get by Rock Hill by a tally of 3-2.

The Pointers (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 8-6 record. In their last bout, Johnson Central tipped Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY), 4-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Redmen clash with the Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH) in a Ohio Valley bout, on Monday, April 14. Rock Hill will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to East Carter (Grayson, KY).
