Michigan High School Softball - Utica sneaks past Sterling Heights Stevenson

April 11, 2025: Sterling Heights, MI 48313

The Utica Chieftains softball team scored 3 runs and held the host Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans to 2 in the Chieftains league win on Friday.

The Chieftains now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Adams for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. Utica will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Sterling Heights Stevenson moves to 0-6 on the season. The Titans travel to Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. The Red Devils come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Grosse Ile lost 4-1 in their recent league battle against Jefferson (Monroe, MI)
