Texas High School Softball - West Brook succumbs to Sterling

April 11, 2025: Baytown, TX 77521

In Friday's league test, the Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX), by a tally of 10-2.

Next, the Rangers clash with the Lee Ganders (Baytown, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 test, on Tuesday, April 15. Sterling will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Ganders go into the test with a 1-14 record after their 4-3 league loss to West Brook (Beaumont, TX).

The Bruins (8-15) will now prepare for their test against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans go into the 5A Region III District 19 test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Port Arthur Memorial was routed by Nederland (Nederland, TX), 17-0, in a league test.
