The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Troup Tigers (Troup, TX) and the host White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX), observed Troup's softball team get by White Oak by a tally of 14-7.

The Tigers (22-5) will now prepare for their bout against Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Cardinals go into the 3A Region II District 16 bout with a 1-13 record. In their last bout, Sabine was routed by West Rusk (New London, TX), 17-15, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Roughnecks clash with the Tatum Eagles (Tatum, TX) in a 3A Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, April 15. White Oak will attempt to advance on its 11-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Carthage (Carthage, TX).
