The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) and the host Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ), saw Point Pleasant Boro's baseball team beat Central Regional by a margin of 2-0.

The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Manasquan (Manasquan, NJ). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Manasquan by Toms River North (Toms River, NJ), 12-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Golden Eagles face the Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 14. Central Regional will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ).
