The Gary West Side Cougars baseball squad (Gary, IN), was overwhelmed 14-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN)

With the triumph, River Forest moves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Ingots host Griffith (Griffith, IN) to confront the Panthers in a Greater Southshore contest on Monday, April 13. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Griffith lost 1-0 in their recent non-league contest against La Porte (La Porte, IN)

The Cougars now possess a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond Central for a Great Lakes contest on Monday, April 20.
