The Radford Bobcats baseball team (Radford, VA), was overwhelmed 17-5 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA)
The Mountaineers now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Floyd County for a Three Rivers outing on Thursday, April 14. Alleghany will face a Buffaloes team coming off a 7-2 league loss to James River (Buchanan, VA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 3-7.
Next, the Bobcats face the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, April 13. Radford will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 4-2 record after their 12-9 non-league win over Carroll County (Hillsville, VA).
