The Colonial Beach Drifters crushed the host Washington & Lee Eagles baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Drifters now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Northumberland for a Northern Neck bout on Thursday, April 14. Colonial Beach will face a Indians team coming off a 6-5 league win over Essex (Tappahannock, VA). The Indians record now stands at 4-0.
Next, the Eagles face the Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA) in a Northern Neck bout, on Wednesday, April 13. Washington & Lee will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 5-3 record after their 5-1 league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, VA).
