Kansas High School Baseball - South defeats Hutchinson

April 12, 2022: Salina, KS 67401

South Cougars (Salina, KS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS), 11-4 in a league test.

With the win, South upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Newton (Newton, KS) to battle the Railroaders in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I test on Friday, April 15. The Railroaders come into the test with a record of 4-5.

With the defeat, Hutchinson falls to 1-5 on the season. The Salthawks travel to Derby (Derby, KS) to battle the Panthers in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I test on Tuesday, April 19. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 8-2.
