The Coventry Oakers held off the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Oakers now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Salle Academy for a State Championship Division test on Thursday, April 14. Coventry will confront a Rams team coming off a 3-0 league win over Classical (Providence, RI). The Rams record now stands at 4-0.

The Thunderbolts (2-2) will now prepare for their test against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams enter the State Championship Division test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, La Salle Academy held off Coventry (Coventry, RI), 3-0, in a league test.
