The Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA) lacrosse triumphed over the host Oakcrest Chargers (McLean, VA), 19-12 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Trinity Christian upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Gryphons host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA) to battle the Wolves in a Virginia Independent game on Wednesday, April 13. The Wolves enter the game with a record of 2-3. Saint John Paul the Great Catholic lost 25-3 in their recent non-league game against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA)
The Chargers (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks enter the VISAA Division 2 game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Highland edged Oakcrest (McLean, VA), 13-11, in a league game.
