The Pioneers (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers go into the Northwestern 3A/4A game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Hibriten nipped Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 3-0, in a league game.

The Cougars (2-10) will now prepare for their game against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans go into the Northwestern 3A/4A game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, South Caldwell was overwhelmed by Freedom (Morganton, NC), 6-0, in a league game.
